This is an adapter plate that has a standard 4-hole AMPS pattern on one end that will attach to many VSM Mounts from companies like Brodit, Pro.fit and Panavise. This mount can also be screwed or bolted onto any flat surface like a dashboard.
The mount will accommodate the Icom optional remote head bracket. This pacakage comes standard with a Lido AD-2 adapter plate which has a 1/4 X 20 stud on the end. The Icom remote head brackets listed below all have holes that are threaded for a 1/4 X 20 bolt. Please note this item does not come with the Icom bracket. If you have an IC-706 you will need the MB-63, IC-7000 you will need the MB-105, ID-4100 you will need the MBA-8. The IC-2820 already comes with remote head bracket so you will not have to purchase a remote head bracket.
